From being given his first guitar at the age of 8, Neil was already performing on stage in his own skiffle group at 9 years old. As a teen he was part of the 60's beat boom, playing with many groups in and around East London and Essex, often sharing the stage with many of the legendary names of that era.
But it was to be as a television wrestling star that he first found national recognition. His life time interest in sport led him to a wrestling gym which in turn led to a wrestling career which took him all over the world. Dubbed 'The Golden Boy', long before 'Becks' was even a twinkle. Neil was topping the bill on Saturday afternoon TV against the likes of Kendo Nagasaki, Jackie Pallo & Giant Haystacks. He even challenged for the ehavyweight championship of the world against giant American 'The Mighty Quinn' in 1981. Neil has a very interesting and funny Ex Wrestler after dinner speech that is proving very popular.
Throughout this time he also continued to entertain and the 80's saw him build a great reputation as a cabaret performer, doing summer seasons at Butlins, and playing most of the top cabaret venues of the day.
The early 90's saw him branching out into the more adult sid eof comedy with his ownstag shows and hen nights. It was after the success of the movie 'The Full Monty' that Neil was given the chance to take hs Ultimate Fantasy show into British theatres. This success in turn led to him going on to produce, direct and often perform in a wide variety of theatre shows including the UK's No1 touring country music show Nashvile Nights & Dixie Days.
Neil's other productions include, Sentimental Journey, Beyond Belief, Remember When, It takes Two, and Karaoke The Musical, which Neil both wrote and produced.
